How It
All Started

Our Story
In 2021, we weren’t business owners — we were coaches. We volunteered for the North Houston Oilers 12U football team, a tight-knit group of young athletes with big dreams and limited funding. When our team qualified for the Gridiron Youth Football League City Championship, we needed to raise money fast to cover travel and equipment costs.
So we came up with a simple idea: pick up old furniture and appliances from local residents in exchange for donations.
What started as a small community effort turned into something much bigger. We raised enough to rent a bus, got our players to the game, and brought home the 2021 City Championship.
After the season ended, something unexpected happened — people kept calling. They wanted more pickups, more help, and more of the same reliability and respect they saw from our team. That’s when Handymen Junk Removal was officially born.
Built on Teamwork and Community
At our core, we’re still coaches — just with a different kind of field. We believe in discipline, teamwork, and leaving every place better than we found it. The same lessons we taught our players — integrity, effort, and pride in doing things right — are the values that drive our business today.
We still mentor local youth, volunteer with community programs, and help teach kids the importance of hard work and giving back. Junk removal became more than a service — it became another way to serve our city.
Our Mission
We’re not a big franchise or a corporate chain. We’re locals — Houston homeowners, coaches, and parents — proud to serve our neighbors. Every pickup helps clean up our city and keeps useful items out of landfills through recycling and donations.
When you call Handymen Junk Removal, you’re not just hiring a crew — you’re supporting a community effort that started with a bus, a football team, and a belief in doing things the right way.
